Michael Anthony "Mike" Sheldon, 47 years, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away at the home he shared with his mother on April 16, 2014.
Mike was born to Raymond Kenneth "Ken" Sheldon and Gailyn "Gai" Roberta Flasco on November 15, 1966. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Edgewater, Colorado in 1986.
Mike is survived by his mother, Gai Flasco; father, Ken Sheldon; grandfather, Tony Flasco. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Zan (Alexandra Flasco Reagan) and grandmother, Roberta Flasco. He is also survived by cousins, Jon Wolf (Sean Reagan), Kevin Reagan (Michelle), Darren Reagan and Brian Reagan (Samantha); as well as many other cousins. Mike is also survived by his best friend (who mutually considered themselves brother and sister), Mary Price, of Altamont, Missouri; as well as many other friends and his cats, Zola, Josie, Johnny, Lucky, Sassy, Strawberry and Champagne.
His interests included Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, NASCAR racing and playing video games. He was a friend to many and was very compassionate towards others. He was a volunteer at Angels with Paws, a cat rescue facility, and the Carpenter's Cupboard in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
