Michael Dean Bennett

Michael Dean Bennett was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on May 19, 1954 to the late Clora Lee Gilbert and Vernon Leon Bennett. He was raised in Conway Arkansas and graduated high school there. He moved to Denver Colorado to join his father’s business. He passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 71.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clora Lee Gilbert and Vernon Leon Bennett, two sisters Sherlene Givan and Linda Faye Stubbs, and one brother Freddie Morris Bennett, as well as his grandparents.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Michael Dean Bennett Jr and James Leon Bennett, daughter Brandy RayLynn Bennett, all of Kansas City Missouri; four sisters, Mary Maxine (Eddie) Jones of Sherwood Arkansas, Sharon Geneasse Bennett of Denver Colorado, Jacqueline (Mark) Andringa of Daytona Beach Florida and Loria Ann Bennett of Highlands Ranch Colorado, and one brother, Toney Nathaniel Givan of Covington Georgia and step-mother Alberta Bennett of Bryan Texas; 17 grandchildren and (3) great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Those who knew Michael, knew he loved cars. He ate and breathed them. No matter what the problem was, he could fix it.

Michael will be terribly missed and loved!
