Michael J. Daddato, Sr., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015.
He was 83 years of age.
Mike was the loving husband for 63 years to Dorothea Daddato,
loving father to Michael (Barbara), Robert (Jeanne), Dorothy Kogl,
Donna Cervanyk (John), James, Ed, Kenneth (Angie), and his
loving, faithful dog, Rusty.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, and his children, as well as 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren
and a great, great grandchild.
Mike was born in the Bronx in New York City and always held a special
place in his heart for New York City. He never took New York out of his heart.
Mike worked many years at Samsonite, and King Soopers. He also was a
Reserve Officer with the Aurora Police Dept. for almost 10 years,and made
many lasting friendships with them.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Sons of Italy and many
other organizations. He enjoyed all of these organizations and was
an officer in Knights and also of Sons of Italy. He made many lasting
friends in the Sons of Italy of which he enjoyed keeping him in touch
with his Italian heritage. Mike was a great cook and taught all of his children
and grandchildren to cook many, many Italian dishes. The children all
looked forward to the Italian Sunday Dinners he cooked for all of them
and the neighborhood.
A rosary will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church 13120 E Kentucky Ave, Aurora, Co, Mass to follow at 10AM.
Reception will follow after the Mass at the Queen of Peace Reception Hall Church.
