Michael George "Mike" Mackey, 57, of Golden, passed away September 7, 2017.
He was born April 5, 1960 in Denver, Colorado, the son of George and Marilyn (Lathrop) Mackey.
Mike enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle and skiing. He also enjoyed camping.
Mike is survived by brother, Chris (Partner Cheryl Siqueiros) Tillman; nephew, Ryan A. (Judit) Mackey; niece, Meganne (Gabe) Herron; 2 great-nephews; several cousins including Jeff Gordley, and several extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by father, George Mackey; mother, Marilyn Mackey and sister, Deborah Mackey.
A remembrance of Mike's life will be 2pm Saturday, September 16 at Bear Creek Greenbelt Park Shelter, 2800 S. Estes St., Lakewood, CO 80227. Mike was a casual man and made the request that his services would be the same.
