Michael "Mike" Joseph Montoya, 67, of Wheat Ridge, passed away October 5, 2015.
He was born October 6, 1947 in Denver, Colorado, the son of John and Angelina (Rodriguez) Montoya.
Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved art, especially painting, and music. He was also an avid reader.
Michael is survived by Son, Michael Joseph (Candace) Montoya Jr.; Daughter, Michelle A. (Steven H.) Poole; Mother, Angelina Montoya Rendon; Two Sisters, Priscilla C. (late Anthony) Perea, Mercy L. (Jeff) Maes; Two Brothers, David A. (Tessie) Montoya and John Joseph Montoya, Jr.; Four Grandchildren, Travis W. (Brandi) Poole, Taylor R. Poole, Tori A. Poole and Michael Joseph (Stephanie) Montoya III; Two Great-Grandchildren, Iker Poole and Avery Poole; and Many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Father, John Joseph Montoya and Brother, Donald L. Montoya.
