Michael Roatch

Mike Roatch, 81, of Arvada, died Saturday August 29th,2026 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Harriett and Howard Roatch February 17th, 1945, in Denver CO. Mike graduated from our lady of Mount Carmel in 1963 and received his high school diploma. He married Shirley Roatch in 1968 and lived together in Arvada CO.

Mike was a self employed Owner/Operator of Rapid Vac Service. Mike inspired all of his nephews to join the roofing industry. Mike retired in 2000. Mike was very dedicated to his family and work. When he was not working you could find him at the local bowling alley enjoying league night with his wife and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife: Shirley Ann Roatch. His two children: Shelley Ann Lucas (Steve) and Shawna Lynn Choate (Brian). His three grandchildren: Curtis Michael Byers, Branden Anton Parks (Annie), Karah Ann Richards (Jacob).  His five great grand children: Jasper Tyler Parks, Kinsley Sage Parks, Connor Ray Richards, Oliver Allen Richards, Kalayah Ann Richards. Brothers: Lloyd Roatch (Sharon), Thomas Roatch (Brenda). And his sister: Patricia Cardenas.

Mike’s wishes were to not have a viewing or services. He asked to be remembered for the good times everybody had with him.
