He is survived by loving daughter Jennifer Lee Knitter and son Michael Shaun Knitter of Lakewood, Colorado. Preceded in death by loving wife Cheryl Louise Knitter. Inurnment to be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2:15 P.M. staging area "C". Honors will be rendered by the United States Army and All Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be given to Michaels daughter Jennifer L. Knitter.
