Michael F. Vaux

Michael F. Vaux was born on December 22, 1951, and passed away on July 3, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Eugene and Bonnie Paterson Vaux.

He was a 1970 graduate of Aberdeen, South Dakota Roncalli High School. he graduated from Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the University of South Dakota at Vermillion and the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, California.

After a brief stint in South Dakota state government, he spent 25 years as a Catering Manager in the higher education division of Aramark and Sodexho Food Service companies.

Michael is survived by his wife, Rosemary Evetts Vaux and his two dogs, Sally and Skipper; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Dawn Vaux of Watertown, South Dakota; and sisters Mary Vaux Triplet, of Rochester, Minnesota and Marcia Vaux Hansen of Brookings,, South Dakota.

Cremation was handled by Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro Chapel, Lakewood, Colorado.
