"Mickey" Cussins of Denver, CO passed away January 17, 2014 after a short, but hard, battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
She was born January 24, 1945 in Murfreesboro, TN to Mike and Frankie Jackson.
She married Jack Cussins on January 12, 1963 in Denver, CO.
Mickey is survived by her sister Jenny and Jenny's children Jim and Janine
Her husband and their 3 sons;
Mark and his children Jessica, Erica and Joshua;
Michael and his children Rylan, Noelle, Cole and Landon;
Matt and his children Tyler and Rachel and step-children Kelly and Zack.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jay and grandson Austin.
Mickey was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she loved and spoiled them every chance she got.
She enjoyed quilting and working in the garden, but after her grandchildren, what she loved the most was animals. It didn't matter what kind of animal, she just loved them all.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Colorado Neurological Institute at www.TheCNI.org in Mickey's name would be appreciated. They were so helpful to us in our time of need.
