Mildred I. Chadwick

Mildred I. Chadwick 88 of Denver, formerly of Grand Island Nebraska went home to be with the Lord October 27, 2016.

Mrs. Chadwick was born May 7, 1928 in Wood River Nebraska she was the daughter of August Krull and Zeola (Fulmer) Krull. Mildred completed eighth grade education in Alda. Mildred met Delbert Chadwick and was married in Shelton Washington July 15, 1944. They were married 63 year before Delbert went home to be with the Lord.

Mildred moved to Illinois and lived with family while Delbert finished his tour in the Army. They then returned to Nebraska where Mildred had three children and helped care for her father until his death. They moved to a farm East of Alda, Nebraska until September 1957 when Mildred and family moved to Denver Colorado. She worked at Frankel Carbon and Ribbon until the birth of her Grand Children when she started to watch them while being a full time home maker the remainder of her years.

Mildred enjoyed gardening, canning, yard work and baking. Her passion was spending time with her pets, family, especially her grandchildren.

Mildred accepted Christ as her personal savior at the First Christian Church in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Survivors in her immediate family include a brother Jim Krull, two daughters Delberta Jones of Denver Colorado and Mildred Loveland of Grand Island Nebraska; five grandchildren, Lynette Barela, Bradley Jones, Chad Jones, Tony Loveland and Starrla Loveland; thirteen Great- Grandchildren Cole, Ashley, Amanda, Brittany, Tristan, Kyla, Seth, Levi and Faith all of Denver Colorado; Starrlena, Christopher, David and Billy all of Grand Island, Nebraska. She was proceeded in death by her husband Delbert Chadwick; a daughter Estella "Starr" Chadwick; her parents August Krull and Zeola Krull.
