Anna Miriam Rivera, was the seventh child of ten children born to Eudosia Rivera and the late Guillermo Rivera on April 27, 1963 in Manhattan, New York. Miriam excelled in her academics, which lead to her being advanced a grade. Miriam attended Baruch College in New York.
Later she married Eugene Debs. Miriam enjoyed literature , Radio City Music Hall, comedy and cartoons. Laura Branigan and Pat Benatar were her favorite singers. Miriam enjoyed walking. Her favorite food was mommy's "Arroz con pollo", mmmm good! Even though Miriam has no children, she enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews. She encouraged them to excel in school by teaching them how to study. Miriam enjoyed playing the tambourine for the Lord. Her favorite Spanish praise songs was "Jerusalem" and "Gozo en mi alma ". Miriam set on a journey to make lasting memories for her loved ones including her grandnieces and nephews from New York to Florida to Colorado to GLORY. The greatest gift Miriam left to us was her testimony "that we should never lose our faith and ALWAYS trust in the Lord"
Thank you Lord, for giving us Miriam the Encourager, Daughter, Sister, Titi, Wife and Friend.
We love you.
