Moneen K. Lipker, the daughter of Norman and Elizabeth Spier, was born on May 22, 1942 in Greeley, Colorado. She went home to be with the Lord her Savior, on February 27, 2017.
In 1954, she moved with her family from Greeley to Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She graduated from Wheat Ridge High School with fond memories of being in the PEP Club and enjoying various activities with her friends. Moneen, put her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ in her teens and chose to live her life for Him the rest of her days. In 1961, she married Lester D. Lipker from Ruskin, Nebraska. Together they had four children, Teresa, Jeffrey, Kimberly and Miranda. She enjoyed sewing, volunteering her time in the school classroom, walking, and going to her children's/grandchildren's sporting events.
In 1980, she went to work at Sun Company as a screen printer but her passion remained with her family and serving the Lord at Centerpoint Community Church. Ministries she enjoyed were teaching Sunday School for 30+ years, serving on the Missions Committee, volunteering at the Tennyson Street Center and Shannon's Hope, the Women's Ministry, the Helping Hands Ministry and supporting children with Compassion International. Her tender heart, loving smile, listening ears, joyful laughter and warm hugs were enjoyed by relatives and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Elizabeth, and her husband, Lester.
She is survived by her brother Jerry Lynn Spier, and his wife Ginny along with their 3 children, Cammie (James), David (Julie), and Courtney (Sam) and their children.
