Monica Heinzman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was born on August 5, 1954, in Norfolk, Virginia, and her journey of love and kindness touched the lives of those around her.

Monica dedicated 38 years of her life to Coors, where she excelled in quality control, contributing her skills at the can plant and bottle wash. Her enthusiasm for her work was matched only by her affection for her coworkers—she truly enjoyed the company culture and cherished the bonds she formed over the years, participating in numerous work events that fostered camaraderie and friendship.

She was educated at Golden High School, where she graduated in 1972, after meeting her sweetheart, Norman, and where she was an active member of the Poms Spirit Club. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion. After 52 wonderful years of marriage, she remained unwavering in her support for her family, always proud of their achievements and experiences.

Monica was the embodiment of warmth and compassion, always wearing a bright smile that could light up any room. She was not only big-hearted but also deeply devoted to her family, often seen cheering for her grandchildren at their extracurricular activities. Whether it was football, cheerleading, theater, or choir, her presence radiated love and encouragement.

One of her greatest joys was the time spent with her grandchildren—Sarah, Logan, Julianna, and Ash—as well as her great-grandchildren, Darien and Hensley. Whether they were swimming together, enjoying hot chocolate on a cold day, or creating memories during annual trips to Glenwood Springs, where she loved basking in the sun and water, Monica’s spirit was ever-present.

Her passions extended beyond her family to encompass her interests, from her love for the Hallmark Channel all year round to her cherished collection of Precious Moments figures. These little facets of her life brought her immense joy and reflected her nurturing nature.

Monica leaves behind her devoted husband, Norman, her loving daughters, Kimberly and Melissa, her cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Logan, Julianna, Ash, along with Darien and Hensley, her great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Cheryl and Renee. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her memories will continue to inspire love and kindness in their lives.

As we remember Monica, let us cherish her spirit of love, her endless generosity, and her unwavering commitment to family. She will forever be remembered as a shining beacon of light in a world that often needs it.
