Muriel A. Muraskin, Lakewood resident, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at the age of 81.
Muriel lived a full life: she was a Dominican Nun for 12 years spending most of that time as a teacher in Alabama and Connecticut before moving to Colorado where she worked in the lab at St. Joseph Hospital until her retirement in 1998.
Muriel was a lovely person; known for her kindness and her generous spirit, as well as her sense of humor and ever-ready supply of jokes for any occasion.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirin Lankarani.
