86, of Lakewood, Colorado. Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 13, 2013. He was born to parents August and Macie Nelson on March 22, 1926 in Arickaree, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years Mattie Evelyn Nelson. He is survived loving sons Richard Nelson, Randy (Ann) Nelson; daughters Suan (Ronnie) Plummer and Betty Kelton; grandchildren Tiffany (Brandon) McClure, Shelby (Hoang) Nelson Nguyen, Indy Plummer, Jacob Plummer; step-grandchildren LaDette, Leonard, LaShell, LaDona; numerous great-granchildren; sister-in-law Eleonora Nelson; 2 nieces and numerous family and friends. Myron and Mattie will be reunited together at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in a ceremony on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Full military honors will be rendered by the United States Army. Reception to follow graveside services at Church of Christ, 1100 Ulysses St., Golden, Colorado, 80401.
