Nada R Whitney was born on August 11, 1932, in Logan, Utah. Nada was a resident of Aurora, Colorado. On December 16, 2015, Nada was called home to the Lord with her loving daughter, Valerie, by her side.
She was one of six children born to the late Charles and Ruby Peterson and was the wife of the late Claude T. Whitney for over 53 years. Nada is survived by her sister LaVelle Lamire of Boyd, Texas, beloved children Valerie, Claudia, Christopher, and Garry, treasured grandchildren Kristen and Lauren and great-grandchildren Morgan and Chayne.
Nada was a devout Christian and an extremely devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to crochet, embroider, garden and was an avid reader.
Nada has left a permanent mark on the hearts of her family and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Graveside services will be at the Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "A", 3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, Colorado 80235, on December 23, 2015 at 12PM.
