Nathan Carl Larsen, 38, of Aurora, passed away August 26, 2017, after a short hospital stay. He was lovingly surrounded by his family.
He was born October 22, 1978 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Merwin LeRoy and Reta Mae (Harder) Larsen. Though he was non-verbal, he was very social and loved being with people. He remembered every person he met. His laugh was contagious and you never knew when it would happen. He loved riding in the car and went on many family vacations, including Alaska, Mexico, and over 18 states. Nathan also loved swimming, playing music, eating anything and everything, wearing glasses without lenses, watching his cats, and spending time with his Grandma.
Nathan lived at home with his parents until age 33, when he transitioned to living with host families. He spent the last 4 years with a wonderful family whom he loved very much and who will miss him dearly. Thank you to Regina, Emelda, Addretta, and Mary for all you did for Nathan.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Mert and Reta Larsen; sister, Holly Mae (Christopher) Eisenhauer; niece, Allis Mae Eisenhauer; and two nephews, Will Martin Eisenhauer and Oliver Merwin Eisenhauer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald William and Vivian Mae Harder and Oliver Carl and Amy Lucille Larsen.
