Nellie Lorraine Scherbarth

Nellie Lorraine Scherbarth, 97, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 27th, 2026. Born on March 2, 1929, Nellie brought warmth, compassion, and joy into the lives of all who knew her. Though her journey here has ended, the imprint she left on our hearts will never fade.

Nellie was a devoted mother to Lorraine (Lori), Ernest (Ernie) and John and a proud grandmother to Mike and Lisa. She was mamaw to Madison, Hunter, Annamae, Tessa, Lace and Milo, whom she loved dearly.

Nellie was forever a prankster and loved to gamble. She loved to crochet and made many items that she gave away to all sorts of family members.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Robert (Bob), her son Earnest (Ernie), all her brothers and sisters along with her father and mother.
