Neola M. Mitchell, 88, of Denver, passed away January 28, 2015.

She was born March 12, 1926 in Arnold, Nebraska, the daughter of Ernest and Beulah (Patton) Yarrington. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith and was active in that ever since. She lived most of her growing-up life around Arnold except for the 4 years of High School at Bemidji, Minnesota. She moved back to Arnold and married Reuben Nordlund. To this union 4 children were born: Ricky, Miles, Kendra Shank and Paul Nordlund.

Then the family moved to Denver, Colorado and after the passing of her first husband Reuben, she later married Oliver Mitchell.

Neola is survived by Three Sons, Miles A. Nordlund, Ricky L. (Pamela) Nordlund, Paul L. (Mitzi) Nordlund; Daughter, Kendra E. (Michael) Shank; Three Step-Daughters, Mary Boucher, Debbie Mitchell, Kathy Rhodes; 8 grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a Niece, Glenda Jellis.

She is preceded in death by Husband, Oliver Lee Mitchell; Father, Ernest Yarrington; Mother Beulah Yarrington and First Husband, Reuben Nordlund.
