Nevin Bankert

88, of Aurora, CO, passed away September 28, 2011. He is survived by his Wife: Doris; Children: Barbara Adams and husband Steve; Ron Anderson and wife Sharon; Shelley Mortensen and husband Kyle; Son-in-law John Collier; Grandchildren: Mark, Rachel, Brent, Britni, Sarah, Dylan, Kolton, Leah, Jake, Shyanne, Lacee and Ryker. Nevin was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Following graveside at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, a reception will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1151 S. Galena St., Aurora (1:30 p.m.). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 455 Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Melvin Bankert; sister Naomi Geiman; and daughter Dannette Collier.
