Nola Kathleen Delaney of Englewood Colorado died on Monday November 6, 2017 at the age of 84. Nola was survived by her husband Julius Delaney of Englewood Colorado and 6 of her children. She was born on March 16, 1933 in Denver Colorado to her late parents, Charles and Lillian Lahr. She was the 6th of 7 children. Her siblings Harold Reynolds, Charles Lahr, Lloyd Lahr, Leila Wood, and Lila Lesnett have all preceded her in death, and her last living sibling is Jackie Wagner of Denver Colorado.
Nola will be very much missed by her children, William (Lourdes) Rogers of San Diego California, Thomas (Cynthia) Rogers of Phoenix Arizona, Buddy Rogers of Englewood Colorado, and Linda Borges of Aurora Colorado, Nancy Temple of Altamonte Springs Florida, James (Pam) Temple Jr of Centennial Colorado, and eldest son Jeffery Rogers who passed away on November 1st, 2010. She had 19 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She loved to spend her days in her garden, listening to Elvis Presley, had a passion for collecting elephants, and reading. The viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 901 S Sheridan Blvd Lakewood Colorado on Thursday November 17th from 6-8 PM. The funeral will be held on Friday November 18th at 1 PM. Immediately following burial will be at Littleton Cemetery Association 6155 S Prince St Littleton Colorado
Reception following burial will be held at James Temple house 7021 S Eudora St
