Norma Ruth Stadler passed away on July 4th 2013. She was born near the town of McLuney Ohio on October 24th 1920.
Norma was the youngest of Samuel & Hester Colborn's eight children and was known by the nickname "Beanie" growing up. Attending school at McLuney High School, Norma was one of just 18 in her graduating class of 1938. She was class treasurer her senior year in high school along with being in the band and the basketball team.
Norma married Alex Stadler in 1954. Alex adopted her only son (Sammy) of a previous marriage. They enjoyed many happy years together until Alex passed away in 1992.
Norma worked in a few different fields, among them, school teacher, executive assistant and Veterans Administration accountant before retiring.
She enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, bowling, playing cards, vacations to the beach and mountains but most of all she liked spending time with her family and friends. She continued to attend some of her high school reunions in Ohio throughout her life. The real joy of her life, were her great grandchildren.
Norma is predeceased by her husband, Alex Stadler and her only son, Sammy Stadler. She is survived by daughter in law Irene Stadler, grandsons Sammy Jr, and Chris, great grandchildren, Jessica, Vanessa, Alexis, Jayleigh, Steven and Ryan.
