Norman Dale Fast, 64, of Denver, passed away July 22, 2017. Norm passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born November 29, 1952 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, the son of Harold and Elfrieda (Loewen) Fast.
After graduating from Hutchinson High School in 1970, he joined the Army and served as an M.P. in Thailand. After his discharge, he moved to Denver, CO where he started his career in construction. He spent the majority of his career as a Supervisor at Newmyer Construction Company.
He loved hunting, camping in the mountains, and riding his Harley. Every summer, he would ride his motorcycle to MN to visit his parents.
He is survived by his mother, Elfrieda Fast; brother, Jim Fast; sisters Kathi Fast and Donna (Rich) Powell; nieces, Jessica (Nathan) Allen, Erin (Luke) Patterson and Sheila (Dan) Herd; great-nieces and nephews, Natalie, Zachary, Drew, and Dylan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold and brother, Ronald.
To honor his memory, the family suggests a donation to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
