Pamela Suzzanne "Pam" Merrell, 46, of Lakewood, passed away February 9, 2016.
Pam was born August 20, 1969 in Denver, Colorado, she is the daughter of Robert and Linda (Hunter) Shaffer.
She was a graduate of Westminster High School. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Front Range Community College, and became a Registered Nurse. She was very proud of being a RN. While Pam was in college, she was a member of the Honor Society.
She had a soft spot for animals, and was a devoted volunteer and mentor of the Westernaires.
Pam loved to hike. She was an avid Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as a Mom to everyone that she met. Pam also loved to listen to music and attend concerts.
On June 20, 2015, she married Brian Merrell.
Pam is survived by her Husband Brian Merrell, and her Three Daughters, Samantha Leigh (Kendil) Westcott, Mackenzie Lianne McClelland (Jonathan Bolton) and Tashalena P. Merrell; Two Grandchildren, Byron Jayden McClelland and Madison Leigh Simons; She is also survived by her Father Robert Shaffer, her Brother Rob (Bridget) Shaffer; Niece, Brenttany Fisk; Nephew, Slayden Shaffer; Great-nephew, Ryker Sheline; Grandmother, Velma Hunter: her Best Friend Terri Snyder and Many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
She is preceded in death by Mother, Linda Shaffer, Two Grandfathers, Alfred Hunter and Clint Shaffer and Grandmother, Eppa Shaffer.
