Patricia Ann Sanders
March 22, 1938 — January 3, 2013
Patricia (AKA Trish, Patty, Pat) passed away January 3rd, 2013 after a brave battle with cancer and liver disease. She is survived by her three children Debra Mills, Mark Sanders and Dana Sanders Nickel; a son-in-law Leo Nickel all in the Denver area; two grandchildren Nick and Chris Mills in Fort Myers, FL; a brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Judy Welser and their children Kristine Allison and Norman Welser in Castalia, OH; her ex-husband Bob Sanders; and her dog Roxy.
Raised in the small town of Castalia, Ohio, by Constance and Hazel Welser, Patricia worked as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines during the 1950s and even garnered the "Miss Continental" award at one point. Patricia later found her true calling by caring for the elderly as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved animals, gardening, music, and the "occasional" ice cream treat. She will be missed.
