Patricia Ann Deller, affectionately known as "Pat," left this world on July 13, 2025, in Colorado, surrounded by her beloved family and friends. Born on June 4, 1936, in Nebraska, Pat was a force of nature whose vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched everyone lucky enough to know her.
Pat was no ordinary woman; she was small but mighty, characterized by her ornery personality and a knack for speaking her mind without any filters. Her straightforwardness was matched only by the warmth she radiated. Above all, she cherished her family deeply, paving the way for a legacy filled with love and connection.
Her life was rich with memories that showcased her many loves and talents. Pat had an undeniable passion for cooking, creating meals from scratch that delighted family and friends alike. Her culinary creations were more than just food; they were expressions of her love and care. Beyond the kitchen, she embraced her artistic side through crafts, ceramics, and tube painting, leaving behind a collection of beautiful pieces infused with her creativity.
Pat found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as taking scenic car rides in the mountains, marveling at the breathtaking transformation of the aspen trees with the changing seasons. She often reminisced about her cherished trip to the Bahamas, a testament to her adventurous spirit and zest for life.
Perhaps one of Pat's proudest accomplishments was her resilience. Despite facing the challenges of being deaf throughout her schooling, she persevered and triumphantly learned to read lips. At the age of 20, she embraced her first hearing aid, a testament to her determination and strength. She was a devoted mother, lovingly raising her children while celebrating 46 years of marriage to her late husband, George.
Pat is survived by her son David (Elaine), daughter Vickey (David), grandsons David (April), Michael (Andrea), Danny, and granddaughter Angie (Scott), along with her ten great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Even in the completion of her family circle, the lasting bonds she forged will continue to thrive in the hearts of those left behind. Her sisters, Suzie and Bonnie, will hold dear the memories of sisterhood that defined their lives.
She joins her parents, Fern and Fenton, her husband George, and siblings Leon and Patrick in eternal rest. As her family bids farewell, they find solace in knowing that Pat's spirit will forever dwell in their hearts.
Friends, family, and all who loved Pat are invited to celebrate her remarkable life on July 23, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro in Denver, starting with a viewing from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life until 1:00 PM. Her interment will follow at Arvada Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
Though Pat has departed from this earthly realm, her legacy of love, resilience, and indomitable spirit will forever remain a guiding light for all who knew her.
