Patricia Elizabeth Jeffryes , 71, of Denver, passed away July 16, 2015.
She was born December 20, 1943 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Jess and Carmen (Brown) Cruse. She was a graduate of Nevada High School in Nevada, Missouri. On July 27, 1967 she married Robert Jeffryes Sr.
Patricia worked for Marathon Oil in the Patent Office as a Paralegal for over 30 years. She loved to read. Patricia also loved to throw parties. She especially enjoyed Christmas, often shopping for next year's holiday at the after-Christmas sales. When she was younger, Patricia loved to water-ski and horseback ride. Patricia was very sentimental, keeping all of the family history in pictures. She had many cherished photo albums in her home. She enjoyed dogs and cuddling newborn babies. Above all, Patricia was devoted to her family and cherished her time spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by Four Daughters, BetteRose (Tony) Ryan, Belinda M. Grush, Michele R. Poague, Christine D. Lassiter; Son, Robert L. (Cheryl) Jeffryes Jr.; Eight Grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer) Jeffryes, James Jeffryes, J.D. Grush, Bridget (Ernest) Grush-Wolf, Shannon (Josh Hofer) Kelley, Mechelle Lassiter, David G. Lassiter, Kelli A. (Lisa Hoskins) Ryan; Great-Grandchild, 9 great-grandchildren; Brother, Bryan J. (Paulette) Cruse; Four Nieces, Christy C. (Tom) Allen, Marla (Larry) Applegate, Janet Ijams, and Sherrie (Bill) Dally; one brother-in-law, Danny R. (Patricia) Jeffryes; three sisters-in-law, Nila Jean (Pete) Croonquist, Maryan (Gordon) Demerest, and Jerrilynn Jeffryes; Six Nephews, Marcus B. (Amber) Cruse, Mike (Shenia) Earley, Dan (Deloris) Gayman, Dale (Lena) Gayman, David (Kay) Gayman, and Dean (Alice) Gayman; two great-nephews, David J. Cruse, Brandon J. Cruse; great-niece, Devan J. (fiance Daniel) Allen; four great-great-nieces, Melia M. Holley, Ella O. Romero, Kalie M. Holley, Alexi Holley and Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in Missouri.
She is preceded in death by Father, Jess F. Cruse, Mother, Carmen Cruse Everett, Daughter, Debra K. Terwee, Brother, Charles Cruse, Sister, Lucy Cruse, Brother, Edward Earley, Sister, Carol VanPelt-Fink; brother-in-law James Jeffryes and Nieces and Nephews, Jeannie Spratte, Eva McDaniel, Barbara Rysted, Duane (Shirley) Gayman and Dennis Ijams.
A reception to celebrate Pat's life will follow services at the home of Robert Jeffryes Sr.
