Patricia “Nanny” Krasowski, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, in Aurora Colorado at the age of 88.
Born on July 20, 1937, in Philadelphia, Patricia was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Lutman) Kozel. She was a proud 1955 graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School. She carried throughout her life strength, sassiness, humor, and devotion to her family.
Patricia shared 50 years of marriage with her husband, Stephen A. Krasowski, until his passing in 2009. Together they built a life and a family that began with the USMC.
She is survived by her daughter, Judi (Krasowski) Fulton, and by Dick Fulton, whom Patricia loved as her own son. Her greatest joy in life was being “Nanny” to her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Fulton, Sydney Fulton, and Noah Fulton, who were truly her whole world.
Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, John Kozel Jr. and his wife Marie (Weis) Kozel, William Kozel, and Joseph Kozel. She is survived by her sister Patricia (Ellis) Kozel and sister-in-law Carole (Krasowski) Falsone, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who affectionately knew her as “Aunt Patsy.”
Patricia dedicated much of her life to caring for others, first as a devoted homemaker and later through her work at Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Philadelphia. Whether through family gatherings, conversations, unwavering support, or her unmistakable sass and humor, Patricia had a way of making people feel welcomed and loved.
Patricia will be laid to rest beside her husband during a private graveside ceremony at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
In lieu of cards and flowers, the family asks that you share a favorite memory! A story, anecdote, funny moment, or even a small snippet that captures who Patricia (Pat, Nanny or Aunt Patsy) was. Keeping her memory alive in this way would mean more than words could ever express.
Her love lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
