Patricia Ann Medina, lovingly known as Pat, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Denver, surrounded by the warmth and love of her three devoted sons. Born Patricia Ann Baca on April 17, 1934, in Denver, she lived a life marked by kindness, charity, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
Pat’s journey began in the vibrant city of Denver, where she was raised by her beloved parents, Braulio and Margaret Baca. She graduated from West High School in 1952, a proud moment that laid the foundation for a life rich in love and commitment. Pat was a cherished sister to Juanita, who survives her, and fondly remembered her siblings Billy, Art, Rudy, Lou, and Esther, who have gone before her.
A homemaker by heart and skill, Pat took immense pride in creating a sanctuary for her family. Her perfectionism was evident in the immaculate cleanliness of her home—an expression of the love and care she bestowed upon those around her. Beyond her household duties, Pat's generosity extended into her community through over a decade of volunteering at St. Frances Cabrini, where she selflessly gave her time and spirit to help others.
Pat was known for her loving and giving nature, touched deeply by a spirit of charity and kindness that influenced everyone she met. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—her youthful days spent as an avid bowler, her passion for traveling to new places, and the serenity she found in her garden surrounded by blooming flowers. A sports enthusiast at heart, Pat cheered vibrantly for the Denver Broncos and the Denver Nuggets, sharing those joyful moments with family and friends alike.
Her proudest achievements, by far, were her three sons: Michael Medina (Lorena), Jerry Medina (Missi), and David Medina. The love she poured into raising them created a legacy that continues through her grandchildren Serina, Dean, Tia, Michael, Hunter, Kevin, Zachariah, and Olivia, and great-grandchildren Galileo and Aizen, who will carry her memory forward with honor.
Patricia's departure leaves a profound sense of loss, yet her spirit endures in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her—a beacon of love, grace, and dedication. As we reflect on her remarkable life, we honor a woman who made every day brighter simply by being herself.
May we remember Patricia Ann Medina for the deep love she gave, the community she served, and the beautiful home she created—a home not just of walls and furniture, but of immeasurable warmth and kindness. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
