Patrick Raymond Madrid,
75, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Colorado Veteran's Home Fitzsimons in Aurora, CO. He was born on August 30, 1936 to parents Albert and Tonita Madrid in Trinidad, Colorado. He served in the Navy 1954-1962 in San Diego, California. Patrick married the love of his life Martha M. (Maestas) Madrid after he was honorably discharged from the Navy. He retired from The Denver Mint in 1994 as a press operator. He is survived by loving son Raymond P. Madrid and daughter-in-law Carrie M. Madrid; grandsons Joshua T. and Benjamin R. Madrid; brothers Leo Madrid, Manuel (Ida) Madrid, Cecil (Gloria)(D) Madrid; sisters Pauline (Jim)(D) Sambrano, Beatrice (Artudo) Argomaniz, Dora (Al) Martinez, Theresa Martinez, Rosella (Louie) Torres; sister-in-laws Virginia (Gene) Sandoval, Annie (Dan) Martinez, Stella (J.T.) Spurlock; brother-in-law Pete Maestas; numerous nephews, nieces and family members. Preceded in death by loving wife Martha M. Madrid; brothers Albert Madrid, Alfonso Madrid, Rudy Madrid and the Madrid infant twins. Viewing Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 5-6:30 P.M., followed by the rosary at Newcomer West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226. Please join the family after the rosary for refreshments at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 5, 2012 at 11 A.M. Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 W. Milan Ave., Englewood, CO 80110. Interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 12:15 P.M. Area "C" followed by a reception back at the Church.
