Patrick Lee Tubbs

Patrick Tubbs passed away peacefully in his home on May 14, 2026 at the age of 76. He was born in Colorado on July 21, 1949 to Robert and Thelma Tubbs. He graduated from Golden High School in 1968 and enlisted in the Navy the same year serving three years before being discharged in 1971.

He was a devoted husband and family man who loved and cared for his children and grandchildren. Pat loved spending time outside camping and fishing and taking road trips with his wife Kathy Hancock-Tubbs to visit family and see new and interesting places.

He is survived by his first wife, Delores Bolt, his second wife, Kathy Hancock-Tubbs, his siblings, Sherry Jacobs, Shirley Haynes, Robert Tubbs, and Nancy Tubbs, his children, Paul Tubbs, Ken Tubbs, and Krystal Thomas, his step children Michelle Hodge and William Hodge Jr., grandchildren Christopher Tubbs, Katie Filoreto, Joshua Tubbs, Teagan Rutherford, Sadie Rutherford, Tiffany Tubbs-Vigil and great grandchildren Levi Tubbs, Maisie Tubbs, Beau Filoreto, and Elsie Rutherford.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 17, 2026 at the Golden Recreation Center in Golden, Colorado from 3pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Aurora Animal Shelter.
