Paul Gerard Carr 1957-2011
53 of Denver, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. He is survived by his partner, Kurtz Shaffer. His mother, Betty Carr. His daughter, Megan. His furbaby, Beezus. His older brother, Jim (Joni) Carr, twin sister, Ann (Faramarz) Faroogi, his older sister, Jean (Craig) Scharton, and his youngest sister, Mary (Earl Hunn) Shockley. His nieces and nephews: Jason, Christina, Amy (Alex), Brian, Rickey, Kyle, Eric, Megan and Matthew. Also survived by other extended family, friends, teachers, and many loved students. Preceded in death by his father, James Carr; his grandmother, Lena "Mom" Quick. Please check back for information on memorial donations in Paul's name. There will be a reception immediately following the service at church, where all are welcome to attend. Private interment to follow.

Paul's list of accomplishments:
Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from Metro State College, Summa Cum Laude; Master of Arts in Special Education with a Certificate in Autism; Outstanding Graduate for accomplishment to the Special Education Master's Program; Teacher's License includes: Elementary Education, Linguistically Diverse Education and Ages 5 to 21 Special Education Generalist. Another accomplishment was Mile High Teacher of the Year for 2007-2008.
