Paul Matthew Tuck

Paul Matthew Tuck, 25, of Brighton, passed away April 5, 2016. He was born January 18, 1991 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, the son of Matthew Tuck and Misty Trujillo.

Misty experienced an incredibly long and difficult labor with Paul. His father, Matt, was the first to see him. He asked the nurse "what's wrong with his head?" (Thinking it was some horrible defect). The nurse said "Sir, that's his red hair"! Yes, Paul was a true "ginger", from a clan of gingers found on both sides of his family. When he was a baby, people would often come up and touch his bright red hair for good luck! He remained proud of his hair as he got older would often refer to other redheads he saw as "fellow gingers". He had an unusual, dry, and often dark sense of humor. His laugh was uniquely heartfelt, and once you heard it, you could never forget it! His freethinking grandparents passed on to him their wisdom, wit, and a genuine compassion for those in need. He was very concerned about social issues, and wouldn't tolerate gossip, negative talk, or bigotry directed at others. He would always take up cause for the weak.Paul was a deep thinker, and enjoyed researching different subjects like science, sociology, and psychology. In 2013, he successfully completed Pharmacy Tech training at Everest College, Aurora. Musically gifted, Paul taught himself guitar, and keyboard, and would often jam with his cousin Dan, brother Jacob, and others. He could pick up songs "by ear" and play them quite easily. Unbeknownst to many, Paul also had an awesome singing voice, just like his mom! Paul enjoyed drawing, and was very good at it. He loved and bonded with all the family pets over the years, especially, Sally, Maeby, Winston, and Fergus.
Paul, most of all, loved Mario, his son! He fought through many personal battles, legal obstacles, and other difficulties, to be a part of Mario's life. Paul and Mario were like two peas in a pod, and truly amazing together.
Paul, we will miss you deeply. May your beautiful and unique soul find peace on the "other side".

Paul is survived by his son, Mario Matthew Tuck; parents, Matthew Tuck and Misty Trujillo; sister, Adriana Trujillo; two brothers, Ernest Trujillo and Jacob Tuck; two nephews, William Stanion-Trujillo and Rico Trujillo; two uncles, Tom Tuck and Alex (Cynthia) Trujillo; Auntie Tunnie (Mike) Cavanaugh. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Joseph Tuck, Mary Patricia Tuck, Jake J. Trujillo, and Nellie M. Trujillo; cousin, Daniel Cavanaugh; uncle, John Ernest Trujillo; and step-mother, Kelly Davis-Tuck.
