Paul Seibert Clare

July 28, 1938 — December 14, 2014

To Paul's Family and Friends,

Paul passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from Parkinson's disease. Family members were by his side and he was able to see them and hear their loving words.

Paul was a gentle and quiet man. He was known as "Clark Kent" among his rather rambunctious fraternity brothers at Thiel College in Greenville, PA (1956-1960). Thiel was also the alma mater of Paul's parents and several aunts and uncles before him.

Some years after college, Paul found his real "hometown", San Francisco! Paul had many happy years in this great city. He made life-long friends there, enjoyed adventures sailing on the bay, and cheered on the San Francisco 49er's.

When Paul's father died in 1989, Paul moved to Greenville, SC to be closer to his mother in Myrtle Beach. His younger sister, Irma Clare Baird, her husband, Sandy, and children, Allison and Tim, also lived in Myrtle Beach. Paul was able to enjoy time with his family and they with him on his many trips from Greenville to MB.

After Paul's retirement, he moved back to CA to the little town of Redbluff, northeast of the city on the bay. He was there a few years until his sister, Susan, talked him into moving to Golden, CO to be near her and her family. Susan and Michael Boehm have two daughters, Kristen and Lisa, and two grandchildren, Clare and Teo. Nieces and grand-niece and grand-nephew all had the joy of Paul's company for almost ten years.

We hope that you will share some memories of your relationship with Paul on the indicated website so that we can celebrate his life together as a community.
