Paula Raylene Reazin, lovingly known for her warm spirit and generous heart, was born on April 25, 1943, in Joplin, Missouri. She passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in Commerce City, Colorado, leaving a legacy of kindness and dedication that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Paula attended high school in Lyons Kansas, where she began to shape her character, establishing friendships that would last throughout her life. As a devoted professional, she worked at McPherson Bank And Trust, where her commitment to her job and her customers was evident.
Beyond her career, Paula had a passion for hiking in the mountains, enjoying the beauty of nature and the serenity it brought her. She took great pride in being named an "Everyday Hero" by Channel 7 News for her dedication to volunteer work. Paula regularly volunteered at Colorado HorsePower, a nonprofit organization using horses to foster well-being in others.
Paula was a beloved mother to her sons, Robert W. Reazin, Ryan Reazin, and Kyle Reazin, and a cherished daughter, Kim (Michael) Turner (Reazin). Her family expanded to include grandchild Amber (Rob) Mettlen and great-grandchildren Alexa (Daniel) Garner (Mettlen) and Ethan Mettlen, who were all a source of immense pride and joy in her life.
Her bond with her brother was strong; she is mourned by her brother, Stephen (Becky) Jung, and her brother-in-law, Glenn Colberg. Paula’s family network also includes many nieces and nephews who were touched by her love and guidance.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Laurel Jung and Floyd Jung, as well as her sisters, Sharon Colberg and Berneta Jung. She also mourned the loss of her nephews, Drew Colberg, Dane Colberg and Clinton Swafford, and her niece, Lindsey Swafford.
Paula Raylene Reazin will be remembered not only for her unwavering commitment to her family and community but also for her vibrant spirit and the love she shared with all those around her. Her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
