December 21, 1938 – March 6, 2012
Peggy Jacobson of Aurora, Colorado quietly passed away at her home after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the age of 73. Her daughter Renaé, sister-in-law Sharon, stepdaughters, Kristen and Jennifer, and husband Larry were by her side.
Peggy was so proud of her Wamego, Kansas roots where she was born to George Henry Kelsey and Fern Ethel (Halderman) Kelsey on December 21, 1938. She was the 2nd oldest of six children, Donna, Patricia, Sandy, Robert, and Jimmy.
For 19 years of her life she was married to Wayne Weaver with whom she had her three children, Mark, Wendy, and Renaé. Her legacy continued with six grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Merrick, Tallyn, Brenna, and Aria.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Jacobson, whom she married in 1984 and grew her family to include two step children, Kristen and Jennifer, which later gave her an additional grandchild, Shelby, and two great grandchildren, Riley and Caycee.
The life of Peggy is placed in the memory of family and friends. We will miss her greatly.
