Peter G. Braaksma, 82, of Aurora, passed away May 25, 2015.
He was born April 7, 1933 in Cambria, Wisconsin, the son of Dewey and Minnie (Vanderwal) Braaksma. He was a graduate of Cambria High School. On April 16, 1954 he married Helen Willard, of Randolph, Wisconsin.
Peter is survived by his wife, Helen; son, Steve (Cindy) Braaksma; two daughters, Melissa (Mark) Chambers, JoEllen (Mike) Stotyn; five grandchildren, Lindsey (Grant) Erker, Shane (Joyce) Braaksma, McKenzie Chambers, Mason Chambers, and Dakota Stotyn; four great-grandchildren, Myles Erker, Brock Erker, Paisley Erker, and Lochlann Braaksma; and brother, Marvin (Francis) Braaksma. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Pete loved his family at Mississippi Avenue Baptist Church.
