Peter W. Steiner

Peter W. Steiner went to be with our Lord on January 17, 2014. He was born in Bismarck, ND to Valentine and Apollonia on June 3, 1929. He was one of eleven children. After school, he spent 4 years in the Navy. He then attended barber college in Fargo, ND where he met and married Helen, on November 20, 1954. They had four children; Dawn, Craig, Brenda, and Candie. Pete barbered for twenty-four years before going to work in the uranium and coal mines in Wyoming. He retired in 1991 and later moved to Denver, CO.


Pete enjoyed telling stories, playing cards, reading, gardening, canning, cooking, and just piddling. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, five brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his four children, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, two brothers, one sister and several nieces and nephews.


Services will be held on January 30, 2014 @ 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church located at 556 S. Jersey St., Denver, CO 80224.
