Philip Rohr Jr., 77, of Aurora, passed away March 24, 2017.
He was born February 27, 1940 in Hays, Kansas, the son of Philip and Ludwina Rohr. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Denver, Colorado. Philip enlisted in the Army where he spent time in Germany and other European countries. He returned to Denver and on June 25, 1965 he married Mary Lillian Ortiz, of Denver, Colorado. He and Lillian moved to Aurora, Colorado in 1966 where they raised four children.
He worked and retired as an industrial insulator and was a member of Local 28 for over 50 years. He was a kind, loving and funny man who loved his family. He also loved watching old westerns, NASCAR, and the Denver Broncos.
Philip is survived by his children, Anthony Michael (Peggy) Rohr, Annette Marie (Desmond) Price, Gina Louise (Chris) Lippert, and Barbara Angela (Scott Lawson) Rohr; six grandchildren, Lee Jergensen, Mitchell (Hailey) Jergensen, Garth Rohr, Tim Rohr, Cody Lippert, and Nicolas Lippert; two brothers, LaVern Rohr and Bernard Rohr; five sisters, Nora Hammerschmidt, Dolores (Sheldon) Tripp, Lucille Smith, Teri (Rich) Coffenbow, and Carol (Dave) King. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lillian Rohr; parents, Philip and Ludwina Rohr; and siblings, Jane Rohr, Marvin Rohr, Frieda Wiesner, Cathy Lane, Mary Wilcoxon, and Lorene Snow.
