Phyllis A. Mcvey

Phyllis A. McVey, 84, of Aurora, passed away May 8, 2015.
She was born July 31, 1930 in Union, New Jersey, the daughter of Herbert and Ada Tag. She was a graduate of Union High School. On May 9, 1952 she married John McVey, of New Jersey.
Phyllis moved to Colorado in 1990 to join her family and new grandson Kelly. After retirement as a Nanny, she was actively involved with her friends at the Aurora Senior Center where she enjoyed making personalized greeting cards for friends and family.
Phyllis death is commemorated by her giving heart as she gave the gift of life through organ donation.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Kathy McVey, Kevin (Vera) McVey, and Susan (Steven) White; one grandson, Kelly McVey. She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. McVey; mother, Ada Tag; father, Herbert C. Tag; brother, Herbert Tag; and sister, Jean Wood.
