Priscilla DeJulio Lehman age 69 of 8705 W 32nd Avenue, Unit A, Wheat Ridge CO 80033 passed away March 31, 2016 from her worsening lung disease.
She was born on November 21, 1946 in Ouray, Colorado to the late Mary and Joseph DeJulio. Priscilla graduated from Arvada West High School, and received her Bachelors degree from Metropolitan State College. She married Charles C. "Chuck" Lehman in 1978, and they lived in the Denver area ever since.
She retired from an administrative position at the University of Denver approximately four years ago.
Priscilla, a devoted Catholic was an active member of St. Patrick's Oratory, helping the Sisters with fund raising activities, singing in the choir, and serving on the planning committee. She was also a passionate and active member of her prayer group, The Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy "EADM" serving as Treasurer and helping to plan and organize its activities. She was an eager fly fisher, and also assisted the West Denver Trout Unlimited Chapter in its fund raising activities. She loved to play cards, and was an accomplished poker player in Black Hawk.
Priscilla is survived by her husband, Chuck Lehman, and her three sisters: Mary Jo Ann Alcorn, Darlene Mae Battaglino, and Emily Jean Mathis. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Rocco DeJulio and her parents, Mary DeJulio and Joseph DeJulio.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to American Lung Association, 5600 Greenwood Plaza Blvd Ste 100, Greenwood Village., CO 80111.
A viewing and rosary will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 3 pm to 6 pm Monday, April 4. A funeral Mass will be held at St Patrick's Oratory at 11am on Tuesday, April 12. A memorial service is planned at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Montrose, CO on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Montrose.
