Randy Basham

Randy Basham, 61, of Aurora, passed away November 14, 2016.

Randy was born June 6, 1955 in Roanoke, Virginia, the son of Calvin and Jewell (Hammed) Basham. He was a graduate of Cave Spring High School. He attended Brigham Young University. On February 17, 1987 he married Julie Stanton of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Randy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a 2 year mission for the church to South Korea. He worked approximately 35 years for the Department of Defense. During those years, Julie and Randy had the opportunity to travel and live in many different countries. Because of his outgoing, friendly nature he made new friends wherever he went.
Randy was loved and will be missed by all his friends and family.

Randy is survived by his wife, Julie Basham; three brothers, Calvin (Janis) Basham, Jerry (Joyce) Basham, and Victor Basham. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Jewell Basham.
