"Randy" Randall Lee Laird

Randy Laird, 70 years old, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Randy was diagnosed with an aggressive type of lung cancer in October and was gone far too quickly after only 58 days.

Randy was born in Denver and raised in Buena Vista, Colorado. He returned to Denver where he raised his family with his beautiful wife Monica. He enjoyed taking his children camping, boating and road trips to California. Randy especially loved taking cruises in his later years.

Randy was a homebody who preferred to spend time with his family and help his kids with their projects. He was great with his hands, whether it was the latest home improvement project or baking a pie.

Randy’s greatest joy was his family. A devoted husband to his wife, Monica Laird of 44 years, a loving and proud dad to Lindsay (Brian) Wingate, Anita (Josh) Hartz and “Tommy” Thomas Laird. He adored his six grandchildren: Brooklyn, Miles, Weston and Cami Wingate and Natalie and Graham Hartz who will forever remember his white “Santa” beard and gentle wisdom.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and two sisters, Darleen Dennis and Joleen Cormier. He was preceded in death by his parents Kathleen and Dale Laird and two brothers Ray Rasmussen and John Laird.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at The Inn at Hudson Gardens, 6115 South Santa Fe Drive Littleton, CO 80120.
