Ray was born on September 7, 1932 in Longmont Colorado passed away on September 13 2025.

Ray served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955 with the rank of Staff Sargent. He retired from the U.S. Postal service in 1989 after 31 years and spent his years in retirement caring for his grandchildren and working various jobs until social security age.

Ray is survived by his wife of 64 years Esther Chavez (Solano) his children Ray Jr. (Belinda) and Ken (Gina)

He is proceeded in death by his brothers Tony and Paul and his sister Sophie Sigala (Chavez).

He was grandfather to 4 and great grandfather to 7

Ray is and will always be remembered and missed.
