Ray J. Mitchell, 83, of Thornton, passed away October 24, 2015.
He was born November 15, 1931 in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Burt and Ethel (Moyer) Mitchell. On March 19, 1961 he married Norma James in Denver, CO. He retired as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force. After his retirement from the Air Force he worked at Safeway for 15 years until his retirement in 1986.
Ray is survived by his Wife, Norma Mitchell; Son, Scott (Cecila) Mitchell; Daughter, Shelley (Robert) Robinson; Granddaughter, Mariela Casas; Two Brothers, Robert Mitchell, Max Mitchell. He is preceded in death by Mother, Ethel Mitchell, Father, Burt Mitchell, Brother, Leo Mitchell.
