Raymond M. Vigil, 63, of Denver, passed away April 13, 2014.
He was born May 8, 1950 in Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico, the son of Julian and Elvira (Arellano) Vigil. On July 31, 1971 he married Mary Lou Vigil, of Taos, New Mexico.
Ray was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and was a recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was a trucking supervisor for Safeway and retired after 30 years. He loved his family, hunting, the Broncos and enjoyed horses.
Raymond is survived by his Wife Mary Lou; Children, Ray, (Jennifer) Jr., Sonia (Mark) Vigil, Jesse (Desiree) Vigil; Grandchildren: Isaac, Lucas, Ray, III, Lana, Nadia, Jesse, Jr., Serenity, Alonzo, and Claudio; and Sister Regina (Adelmo) Vigil and Brother Eraclio "Jets" (Jenny) Vigil and Sisters Lillian Vigil and Julia Vigil; Mother-in-law Aurora Trujillo; and also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his special God Children, and many cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Parents Julian and Elvira, Brother Jerome, Sister Vicky (Carlos), and Niece Rose, Father-in-law Carlos Trujillo, Brother-in-law Carlos, Jr., and his Buddy Rudy Vigil.
