Born September 27, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to parents George Sr. and Mattie Green Lucas. He passed away December 2, 2013 in Denver, CO. He is survived by children Donna Paterson, James Stone, Gwenette Stone, Cheryl Jackson, Winnie Jackson, Susie Jackson and Georgia Lucas; grandson Gary Lucas, sister Almeta Mantley; niece Geneva (Freddie) Hyche ;nephew Joseph Berry and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Susie Ann Lucas and daughter Bertha Redwine.
