Richard James "Dick" Allwein, 73 unexpectedly passed away May 19, 2013.
Dick was born to Richard and Mary Allwein, November 8, 1939 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his loving wife Roberta "Bobbi" Allwein; brothers, Charlie Allwein, Frank Allwein and Dave Allwein; sister Mary Ledischak, sons Steve Allwein, Tim Allwein and Mike Fernandez; daughters, Lisa Allwein, Reina Luongo and Jolanda Dregney; grandchildren, Mellissa, Cory, Kyle, Clinton, Samantha, Jason, Michelle, Angie, Karen, Nicole and Kelly; great- grandchildren, Abigail, Daniel, Bailey, Jason Jr., Logan, Mike, Gavin, Mayla, Jacob, and Gabriella.
Dick never knew a stranger and was always ready to engage in any worldly conversations. His love of music that he loved to share, his sense of humor, sparkling eyes and smile will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Veteran Adminstration Volunteer Service, 3600 Memorial Blvd., Kerrville TX 78028.
Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Boulevard, Denver CO, June 7, 2013, 1:00 pm at Shelter "A". Please meet at Staging area "A" at 12:30 to 12:45 pm off of Sheridan Blvd., through the Main Gate.
