Richard James "Dick", 72, passed away March 13th after a long battle with Parkinson's. He was married to Dee Klaus, of Aurora, for 50 years. He was the proud father of 7: Ken, Robin, Kevin, Kelly, Kim, Theresa and Brian. He also had 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Jean and brother Robert. Richard was retired from the US Air Force, then worked at Lockheed Martin. Richard was also a civilian volunteer with the Parker Police Department for several years. Richard was known for his sense of humor, his mechanical mind, his love of trains and his unique relationships with each of his family members. He will be missed greatly by all. Services are Thursday, March 21st at 10:30 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Aurora. In Lieu of flowers, a donation to Parkinson's Association of the Rockies would be appreciated.
