He was born February 18, 1932 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Elton and Mary (Bryan) Fair. He honorable served from 1952-1960 in the US Navy during the Korean War. On June 9, 1962, he married Mary Catherine Riedel at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Denver, CO.
Richard is survived by Daughter, Celine T. Fair; Son, Matthew J. Fair; Three Grandchildren, Erin Rose (Brian) LaCount, William Walter Thompson, Theresa Marie Thompson. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Mary Catherine Fair, Son, Walter Edward Fair, 3 Brothers, Elton Fair, Robert Fair, Thomas Fair.
